I'm not sure we were ever told to walk..I think my folks probably would have been afraid we would!

AnnAnn Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11260912408599560823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3393382965737174819.post-82289977592136045322012-02-05T03:49:30.292-05:002012-02-05T03:49:30.292-05:00Hi Ann,

Thank you so much for sharing your childhood memories with us.

I dreaded those family drives when I was a child, one of us children was always sick, and we had to be quiet unless we wanted to walk!Barbarahttp://www.late-bloomers.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3393382965737174819.post-53279570974472491852012-02-03T09:10:19.124-05:002012-02-03T09:10:19.124-05:00Hi Bill..Thanks for coming to visit. They are lined up right next to my flip flops though..those are impatiently waiting for the weather you enjoy year round!

Car trips..they are rather memorable when you have the whole family plus along! But make for fun memories..My Dad always took the "back roads" which meant we got lost alot..he'd just laugh and say "We might be lost, but we're making good time"

We'd all roll our eyes at that point. Maybe another story there!

AnnAnn Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11260912408599560823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3393382965737174819.post-52750619033399577062012-02-03T09:03:58.693-05:002012-02-03T09:03:58.693-05:00HI Jack, Thanks for stopping by..I do have a lot...HI Jack, Thanks for stopping by..I do have a lot of memories, my Grandparents were a large part of my growing up years. Living on a Farm everyone chipped in at one point in time and one set lived in part of that big old farm house. Another story maybe.

AnnAnn Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11260912408599560823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3393382965737174819.post-90598773706168520122012-02-03T08:30:38.665-05:002012-02-03T08:30:38.665-05:00What are snow boots?.......I'm from the land o...What are snow boots?.......I'm from the land of flip flops...........:)

Ah yes, the car trip. One of my fondest memories is loading up in our station wagon at about 10 at night because my dad didn't want to drive on a crowded road and there were 6 of us; my parents, my grandmother and my two sisters in addition to me. Except we were driving from Central Florida to South Carolina. However, it was quite the adventure for me because we didn't vacation much 'back in the day'.

Thanks for sharing your family with us.Bill Dormanhttp://billdorman.menoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3393382965737174819.post-87117103618647951442012-02-02T17:35:44.140-05:002012-02-02T17:35:44.140-05:00It sounds like you have some great memories. It sounds like you have some great memories.Jackhttp://www.thejackb.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3393382965737174819.post-49975471214823017322012-02-02T13:05:28.648-05:002012-02-02T13:05:28.648-05:00Hi Susan,

It's strange how the whole feel of a place changes once the pivotal figure is no longer there. I'd want a poster-photo of that Wall for my home!
LoriLori Gosselinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05438402657014025086noreply@blogger.com
